The Jewel of Richmond

The Jewel of Richmond
Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church, built in 1906 and financed by millionaire Richmond-native Daniel Reid, sits without a congregation on the corner of 11th and A street. Its one-of-a-kind Tiffany stained glass and Tiffany-designed mahogany and stone structure attracts visitors from around the country, but after the congregation dwindled to 30 people in 2017, the presbytery decided it would close. With seven years until the structure reverts to the heirs of Daniel Reid, the clock is ticking, and those close to the church hope that it remains intact within the hands of the community.
Awards and recognitions: Crystal Pillar for Arts and Entertainment, NATAS Emmys; 1st Place, Society of Professional Journalists; 3rd Place, Indiana Association of School Broadcasters; Screened, Hollywood First-Time Filmmaker Showcase; Official Selection, Hoosier Films Annual Festival; Official Selection, Victory International Film Festival; Finalist, ICVM Crown Awards; Best Editing, Envision Film Festival
